The luxury Acura automaker has released official images of its mildly revised 2011 RDX. Though mostly the same under the skin – with the exception of a new low-cost front-wheel-drive variant – the RDX gains a new more corporate face. Check the following Acura RDX picture out!

The 2011 RDX will take on the new corporate face of Acura — for better or worse — which includes a TL-derived front grille, a restyled lower fascia and new fog lights. A restyled bumper and new air inlets will also be part of the redesign.
The big news for the 2011 model year is the addition of a front-wheel drive RDX model– up until now the RDX has only been available with Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system. Thanks to a lighter curb weight, the FWD RDX posts better numbers than its AWD counterpart, achieving ratings of 19mpg city, 22mpg highway. The AWD model remains unchanged at 17/20mpg city/highway.
Pricing for the 2011 RDX will start at $32,520 for the FWD model with the addition of SH-AWD bumping the price to $34,520. Acura’s Technology Package can be had on either model for $3,100.
Although the changes are slight, the improvements should keep the RDX fresh in an ever-expanding segment.
